Meeting Manager

Ms. Young joined Malachite in 2007, bringing to the team a wealth of experience in meeting management and marketing. She worked six years as Scientific Account Manager for Thomson Gardiner-Caldwell Communications and Thomson-ACUMED, UK branches of an international medical and scientific marketing and communications agency where Julie managed all aspects of international meetings and congresses taking place in cities across the world including Vienna, Cannes, Budapest, Hamburg, Yokohama, Monte Carlo, Lisbon, Barcelona, Davos, St. Gallen, Zurich, London, Florida, New Orleans, New York and San Antonio, ranging in size from 15 to 2,000 delegates.

She has also held senior account management positions with marketing and sales promotion firm PDP Momentum, a Division of McCann Eriksson (Stockport, UK) and leisure and licensed trade promotions company Creation Publicity (Cheshire, UK). Julie holds diplomas in graphic design and marketing plus an Advanced Certificate of Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
