Association Executive

Ana Torres joined Malachite Management as Association Executive in July, 2008, bringing extensive experience in association management. From 2002-2008, she served as Executive Director for the BC Association of Magazine Publishers. During her tenure, Ana tripled the Association's membership, secured year over year increases in revenues through grant writing, fundraising, and sponsorship, and developed innovative events and programs to build the Association's profile and develop strategic partnerships within the publishing industry. Ana's particular area of strength is grant writing.

Ana serves as the Executive Director for the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology and the Canadian Society for Addiction Medicine.

Ana holds a Master of Publishing from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria.
